The trainees Casper and Jens are more experienced now
At Blaaholm we had great benefits from the trainees Casper Sørensen and Jens Pedersen. They started in February 2018 and they just completed their four-month internship at Blaaholm as productions engineers. We asked them to evaluate their internships.
“I think it has been exciting to work with SolidWorks. It has been really an eye opener for me how great the software is. I actually learned a lot more than I had imagined during the internship. The spirit of Blaaholm is good as all my colleagues offer help at any time” tells Casper.
Casper has been associated with Blaaholm Automation and has made layouts for a number of project with professional sparring and support from Sales Manager Simon Bak. “I have been allowed to work independently – it has been great. My final project is also a Blaaholm project” tells Casper. Casper continues his study after the internship namely Technical Manager Offshore.
Jens Pedersen has been associated with several projects and has enjoyed being deeply involved in the projects. “I have worked with an idea phase for a painter robot on the basis of a visit at a customer, where the customer explained a number of technical challenges. At the same time, I have worked on manuals to include how the machines are fastening during transportation to avoid damage on the equipment” says Jens.
“I feel that during the internship we have contributed with quality. The more you give in the company, the more you get. On a 10-scale, I evaluate my internship for a 9 - 10. I really appreciated being here and the tasks have been great” ends Jens. In his final project, Jens is working on handling oxygen bottles on a trolley for Sydvestjysk Sygehus. Jens has been looking for a job in his final study period and it will pay off. He is already in a new job, working at one of Blaaholm’s suppliers with exciting and challenging tasks.
At Blaaholm we thank Casper and Jens for the effort and wish them the best on their way.
