Service Technician Jørn Schack is Blaaholm's Blade Mover specialist and hydraulics expert so to speak. Last week he had to rush to our customer in Hull UK to solve a service task on a Blade Mover.
The problem in Hull was reported on Tuesday and the service task was planned right away. Our competent supplier AVN Hydraulik is quickly connected to the assignment, and they were fast to prepare the spare part as quickly as possible.
The service car rolled off Sunday morning, fully packed with spare parts from our service department in Varde. Jørn Schack was supported by Service Technician Jens Erik Kristensen on this job. Jens Erik is newly employed in Blaaholm. He has 32 years of solid experience with repairing of agricultural machines. He was very excited for his first task at the UK site. They arrived in Rotterdam and drove aboard the ferry and sailed to Hull. They got a good night's sleep and arrived Monday morning on the site in Hull.
At Hull, our service team was supported by the customer's employees, and the collaboration worked very well. They were able to repair the error on the Blade Mover during their two 12-hours duties.
At the same task, they also made repairs on a Deflection Tester. Jørn and Jens Erik repaired the machine's control system, and bearings were replaced.
The service car was packed and returned after two days, exactly as the service task was scheduled for. Mission completed - the machines are running again. Jens Erik is now just looking forward to many more service assignments abroad.
