Generator Upending Tool WLL 215 T for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy

This is a gigantic lifting tool. One of the largest lifting equipment regarding weight and size in Blaaholm’s history. Its size is 12 M long, 7 M wide and 5 M tall and WLL of 215 T.   

The Generator Upending Tool can turn and lift two types of generators at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. The tool is used in the mounting of the generator to the nacelle.

The generator is placed horizontally in the tool and turned in to vertical position before the lift.
