Box Exchangers results in full utilisation of moulding machines at Schnoor Plast

“With the Box Exchangers, we can run unmanned production for up to 14 hours, depending on the item we are molding. Our production is automated and previous manual handling has been cut away. At the same time, the utilization is 100% of our plastic moulding machines and we can run 24 hours a day. It's a good business case. ” says Dennis Godiksen.

First Dennis Godiksen installed 1 Box Exchanger and now he has ordered 2 more Box Exchangers from Blaaholm, and it is not the last one. Dennis Godiksen is the owner of Schnoor Plast and shows the way how automation can create larger output and increase productivity in the company.

A robot grabs the plastic items from the plastic moulding machine and puts the items in a box at the Box Exchanger. When the box is full, the box is moved on and a new box is brought forward. Quite simple but a huge gain for the optimization of plastic production.
